The Marriage Preparation Ministry at St. George and St. Rueiss is designed to equip engaged and newly married couples with a strong, Christ-centered foundation for their journey together. Rooted in the teachings and sacramental life of the Coptic Orthodox Church, the ministry offers a series of thoughtfully developed modules that address the spiritual, emotional, and practical dimensions of marriage. Topics include the theology of the sacrament of matrimony, communication and conflict resolution, financial stewardship, intimacy and mutual respect, family dynamics, and growing together in a life of prayer and service. Through interactive sessions, guidance from experienced professionals , and open discussions, couples are encouraged to build a relationship that reflects Christ’s love—faithful, sacrificial, and life-giving.
